The German Federal Cabinet has decided the "German sustainability strategy - new edition 2016". The Federal Government adopted sustainability strategy explicitly align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of United Nations (Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs). The funding initiative BonaRes is cited as an important module for the areas of soil fertility as a contribution to assuring the basis of nutrition, protection and sustainable use of the resource of land (SDG 2 and SDG 15).
BonaRes provides key scientific principles for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
