BonaRes data management workshop recap

Checking and increasing the visibility of your publications.

The primary audience for the virtual workshop on research data management that was held on May 8 from 10 to 11 a.m. CEST were early-career scientists (13). Participants were affiliated with ZALF, the BonaRes project and external sources. The workshop was coordinated through the denbi training platform with the purpose of enlightening early career researchers on tips to augment the visibility of their publications. These publications could consist of datasets, data articles, original and peer-reviewed articles, and more.
The following were covered during this hour-long workshop:

An Introduction to Scientific Research:

  • Impact and Visibility.

  • Assessing the visibility of your publications.

  • Persistent digital identifier for researchers.

  • Identification and placement of keywords.

  • A few remarks regarding data publication.

  • Feedback and open discussions.

Trainers solicited questions during and subsequent to the workshop by means of a pre-shared Google Doc. We responded to these inquiries, disseminated training materials and slide talk via the Zenodo platform, and provided participants with a hyperlink: https://zenodo.org/records/11204434.
